The history, I Knew…

The history, I Knew… "THE HISTORY,I KNEW…" History is a subject which had bored a large population of students from school tots to undergraduates, but little did I knew of this bewildering subject that projected the society and the series of reforms it has been through. Earlier I used to think history as a subject containing stocks of date and facts, but little was the rational conscience of mine that never made me ponder into the subject that I am doing now. I think it was the thirst for knowledge about the evolution of the society and its different facets that are catering me and my soul. The subject now seems very epistemic as cynicism that I had of this subject in regard to the numbers I scored in exams have vanished from every part of my conscience. The different view that this subject, as I am reading the art and culture of India has provided me with a sharp view of my own evolved society which was far more egalitarian then it is now. From the advent of I...

The Unacceptable Society.

The Unacceptable Society. "THE UNACCEPTABLE SOCIETY." For me, Section 377 was not of much importance until I recently read an article which really made me curious to reopen the Pages of my good notes of Indian Penal Code just to re-understand the line which I thought was quite perplexing for me and candidly read it and moved ahead without munching its literal meaning. But now, albeit I still haven’t got familiar with the logic behind that but It seems to me more of an archaic feudal law that reads “criminalizes sexual activities against the order of nature”,well it really makes sense that the state is responsible for the well-being of the society and for that they can make and implement laws; but with some rationality . But in this case “The order of nature” is something that makes me a little tizzy to understand the rational conscience of the personas behind the architecture of this law or possibly a ludicrous line that states the order of nature but not the meaning ...

Obfuscating Secularism.

Obfuscating Secularism. "OBFUSCATING SECULARISM." 26 January 1950, the historic day when world’s largest democracy of the contemporary world took birth with the nomenclature of India that is Bharat and with a sacrosanct affiliation to the invulnerable “Constitution of India”, that mandated great responsibility to its retainers so that the adjectives of the preamble shall be enshrined in all the institutions, agencies, and citizens of this country, seems to be in a very shoddy mud of extremist ideologies and their clerics, who are preaching their primitive theologies and undesirably contradicting the modern way of governance or the inevitable “rule of law”. This bumptious act of assertion of right wing or left wing doctrines can be contemplated through the recent events, where a minister of the present Govt. was seen in a disguise of braggadocio, boasting upon his association and superiority of his religion and giving vague caveats, that he and his govt. is here to ...

Few Clicks from Chail.

Few Clicks from Chail. "FEW CLICKS FROM CHAIL." It was nearly two years ago when I hung my berets and boots of being a Cadet of a Military School and entered a byzantine cum exigent life of a typical middle class college student, shit scared of competition laying ahead with peer pressure aggravating that to a level where the veins in head fatten up and forces the brain to send palpitating signals to every nook and corner of the body; well it’s a different story to tale. Today I was just doing some regular work on my computer when I suddenly saw an old folder containing pictures of a Paradise famous by the name  Chail (obviously my school), and I just could not stop myself from sharing  few of them with you guys. The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier(Made by the Cadets): The Magnificent View of Shimla From Chail. A Hilly Village(from top): The apple orchid with mountains in the background: The Hotel Grand Palace: The Dawn of Lady Winter: ...

A reflection on my Lens

A reflection on my Lens MARCH 17, 2018 ~  LEAVE A COMMENT ~  EDIT "A REFLECTION ON MY LENS" That was a long time ago when I completely annihilated my family’s old roll camera which was untouched for nearly a decade before it was brutally shredded  by me with the help of our lawn mower; But that photophilic-intransigent soul remained unsatiated till we bought a new Android smartphone a few years back which again brought back the nostalgia of clicks and cricks but with a new digital format which was  obviously more  handy and immaculate than the one before. Though I was planning to buy a new DSLR, but there was something that would always halt me from giving this amateur disposition a professional look, so I stuck to the generic Samsung J5  and let that impulse buzz my eyes and fingers. Here is the pontification of  my amateurism, A baby bird with her siblings: A magnificent dwelling in my garden. 150 year old tree a...

The Creative Cadets.

The Creative Cadets. JUNE 8, 2018 ~  LEAVE A COMMENT ~  EDIT "THE CREATIVE CADETS." While being at Military School we are always engaged in various official or sometimes unofficial work, from Shramdan(Voluntary effort) to drill and parades and in that routine we also have an annual inspection competition between all the three houses where the cadets learn the literal meaning of dharma and cleanliness and obviously the precise proximity between the two. Well it was during the late monsoon of 2014 when we had our annual inspection for that year, below are few snaps from the periphery of our dormitory for which we burned our candles on both the ends and fortunately came out triumphed. But before you scroll down, pardon me for the camera angle(now what can you expect from a 16-year-old naive photographer).And as a matter of fact, all photographs are not clicked by me so the credit goes to all my worthy comrades for their extraordinary diligence. ...
